Carnelian has a basic "attack" that releases a healing wave to one ally in range and grants Attack-based healing if their HP is below 30%. Her Talent grants Soul Essence to an ally without it once a healing wave has reached them 7 times. Her ultimate skill, Soul Infusion, grants Soul Essence to all allies with HP below 30% (upgraded to 50%) in range, and grants 20% Physical Damage Reduction and Magical Damage Reduction to all allies in range for 10 (upgraded to 15) seconds. Her first passive ability, Energy Refraction, causes her healing waves, upon reaching a target with Soul Essence, to bounce 1 (upgraded to 3) time(s) to another nearby ally, although healing will be reduced by 40% (upgraded to 20%) per bounce. Her second passive ability, Soul Vibration, triggers when a healing wave reaches an ally with Soul Essence, dealing 40% (upgraded to 60%) AoE damage to up to 7 enemies around the target.

 

Talent: Grants Soul Essence to an ally without it once a healing wave has reached them 7 times.

 

Awaken 1: For 15 seconds after Soul Infusion, if any ally has their Soul Essence consumed, the duration of the Unyielding state increases by +1 second.

Awaken 3: The healing effect of healing wave will no longer decrease when bouncing.

Awaken 5: Grants Soul Essence a 20% chance to not be consumed upon triggering.

 

Ultimate: Soul Infusion grants Soul Essence to all allies with HP below 30% (upgraded to 50%) in range, and grants 20% Physical Damage Reduction and Magical Damage Reduction to all allies in range for 10 (upgraded to 15) seconds.

Summary: Carnelian is a healer with a basic "attack" which creates a healing wave that provides Attack-based healing as long as the target is below 30% HP, making her a perfect fit for a Chaos Dominion team who thrive on being on low HP and which other healers counter by their nature. Her kit focuses on the Soul Essence mechanic, which triggers while on an ally who receives lethal damage, granting them the Unyielding state for 5 seconds. Her ultimate grants all allies in range below 30% (upgraded to 50%) HP a Soul Essence while boosting Physical and Magical Damage Reduction for all allies regardless of HP status. Her Energy Refraction allows her healing waves to bounce to a nearby ally, reducing their healing effect but providing extra range, while her Soul Vibration provides some AoE damage. As a member of The Chaos Dominion, her deployment cost is reduced by -5 in the Arena. She shines anywhere she has a chance to build up Soul Essences, particularly Campaign, Trial and the Arena.
