Cerberus has a "basic attack" that triggers upon deployment, immediately dealing 200% (upgraded to 210%) AoE magical damage to surrounding enemies, then summoning a permanent Water of Decay at his location, dealing 40% (upgraded to 50%) AoE damage per second to surrounding enemies. His Talent summons Water of Decay at the location of the enemy with the highest HP, costing 20% of his maximum HP every 14 seconds and dealing 30% AoE damage every second for 6 seconds, whenever he takes damage the cooldown is reduced by 2 seconds, he cannot be healed or revived by allies, and each death extends the revival time by 30 seconds. His ultimate skill, Spectre-Binded, increases damage by 70% (upgraded to 100%) and applies -50% slow for 15 seconds every time he deals damage. His first passive ability, Water of Decay, triggers upon his death, creating a Ground Effect Area that deals 100% (upgraded to 140%) AoE damage per second for 12 seconds (upgraded to 20 seconds). His second passive ability, Evil Annointing, reduces initial deployment cost by 6 (upgraded to 10), and upon his first death ally mages deployment cost is reduced by 1 (upgraded to 2).

 

Talent: Sacrifices 20% of maximum HP every 14 seconds to summon Water of Decay at the location of the enemy with the highest HP, inflicting 30% AoE damage every second for 6 seconds. Whenever he takes damage, reduces the cooldown by 2 seconds. Cerberus cannot be healed or revived by ally champions, and each death extends his revival time by 30 seconds.

 

Awaken 1: Within 10 seconds of deployment, all Ground Effect Areas will slow enemies.

Awaken 3: When HP is below 50%, doubles the damage of Ground Effect Areas per second.

Awaken 5: Reduces the cooldown of Talent by 3 seconds, and reduces HP consumption of Talent by 5%. 

 

Ultimate: Increases damage by 70% (upgraded to 100%) and applies -50% Slow effect for 15 seconds every time he deals damage.

Summary: Cerberus is a fighter with a unique basic attack range of his own tile, meaning his interaction with things such as The Curse set is confusing. He is a very powerful fighter once used effectively. He can be placed by defenders to kill enemies quickly while the defenders hold them in place, he can obliterate swarms of weaker monsters with ease and he can weaken stronger enemies. It is worth noting that he does benefit from the heal in the Insignia of Melee Attack promotion raids, and also when equipped with the Soul Drainer artifact. His very confusing skill descriptions of calling nearly everything Water of Decay aside, he has the ability to inflict a constant slow effect as an AoE, which benefits his Cursed Cult allies, while as a member of The Chaos Dominion, his deployment cost is reduced by -2 in the Arena. He is capable of dealing extremely high amounts of damage and should not be overlooked. He can be used to great effect in many areas of the game, particularly Campaign, Trial, Tide, Gear Raid 1 and 2, and group DPS Arena.

 

Please note that Attack Speed has no effect on this hero and should be avoided.
