Maul has a basic attack that deals AoE piercing damage to multiple enemies. His ultimate skill, Abyssal Surge, deals 750% (upgraded to 900%) AoE damage and knocks back with x1 (upgraded to 2x) strength. His passive ability, Salt Erosion, triggers every 25 (upgraded to 20) seconds and lasts 8 (upgraded to 10) seconds, extends his attack range, causes each attack to deal 150% (upgraded to 200%) damage and causes basic attacks to inflict -10% (upgraded to-15%) Defence Reduction for 3 (upgraded to 5) seconds.

Summary: Maul is a marksman with a basic attack range who deals AoE piercing damage. His Abyssal Surge gives him great burst damage with a relatively short recharge, while Salt Erosion grants him extended range regularly as well as boosting his damage and, thanks to Defence Reduction, also boosting other champions damage. He can be used in higher stages of Gear Raid 3 to cover the right side, and is strong enough to do so alone. He shines in Campaign, Trial, Gear Raid 1 and 3, and group DPS Arena.
